add url with UTF-8 character support in tomcat

if a url like this: http://localhost: 8080/Usite/中文.jsp, the tomcat would failed to parse it. here’s a way to resolve this problem:

open tomcat home path, open server.xml under conf directory, and find “Connector” element, add  URIEncoding=”UTF-8″, save and exist.

the element might like this:

<Connector port="8081" protocol="HTTP/1.1"
               connectionTimeout="20000"
               redirectPort="8444"  URIEncoding="UTF-8"/>

  1. Heya just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you
    know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue.
    I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same results.

  2. Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against
    hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.
    Any tips?

  3. I love your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you create this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you?
